The sports that I got involved in.
- Volleyball (1995-1996)
- Silat (1997-2004)
- Football (1999-2004)
- Floorball (2002-2010)
I first started out with volleyball back in Pri 5. I was a scrawny boy and the volleyball teacher picked me maybe just because I look decent. I was an unused player in the North Cluster Volleyball Championship for Serangoon Garden South which came second to Xinmin Primary School. I continued the sport for until 1998.
In 1997, I was enrolled into Silat. The following year, my partner and I won ‘Best Weapon Choreography 1998 – Youth’. I also participated in sparring tournaments but it was not my forte. I was short-listed to train with the national squad but declined as I was concentrating on my ‘N’ Level examinations.

Upon Manchester United’s Treble-winning season in 1999, I was actively playing football. First started out as a central defender but due to my inexperience, I was made to play as a right-back. I scored my first competitive goal in inter-class tournament playing left-back. Won another inter-class honour before captaining a team made up of Secondary 5 students in our 2-1 win against our graduating juniors in an ‘National Day Challenge – Graduating Classes 2001′. Played for three more years as a central defender and goalkeeper.

Once admitted to Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), I immediately signed up for floorball. I volunteered to be a goaltender after seeing the heroics of Jean-Sebastien Giguere and Jose Theodore guarding between the pipes in ice-hockey. In 2003, I made my full-game debut for Termites in our 13-3 loss against Skools. In 2004, I played my first Institute-Varsity-Poly (IVP) game against Singapore Polytechnic (SP). The same year, I failed to help Termites from relegation but collected my first shut-out. Despite the lows, NYP benefited from my efforts and we went all the way to the finals before losing to National University of Singapore (NUS) 4-2. Again, I kept my one and only IVP shut-out against Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in our 1-0 group stage win. Signed for Tazsilian Piranhaz (2005 to 2007) and SIM (2008 to 2010) before retiring from the sport. Scouted two goalies during my mentor stint, Sara Lim (2004) and Hazwan (2009). Set up Femmes Fatales Floorball Club in 2010 with Sara Lim.
