It’s Sure Been A Long Time

My last post was at the end of December 2013! I have been busy adjusting to married life and my wife has been very helpful. She showed me a lot of things that I have missed during my bachelor days. I have to say, I am liking her fashion sense that I am slowing stepping out of my comfort zone.

Wife outside VivoCity after ‘GI JOE: RETALIATION’

Last week, we went to catch ‘GI JOE: RETALIATION‘ at VivoCity and I have to say it is good. After that, we stumbled into Fathi and Sharifah with their one-year-old daughter. Dinner next and I have never tried Secret Recipe there (surprise, surprise).

We had Chicken Cordon Bleu and Aussie Beef Steak. Tender and delicious!

The next day, we rushed to one of my MRF trainee’s wedding. It was Faizal who approached me asking if I wanted to tag along. We were supposed to go for another wedding today but we cannot due to me not feeling well.

Yesterday, I talked to Faris and I am glad that his team’s A Gaming Nation is doing very well acquiring new opportunities along the way. I might be in their line-up the next year if all goes to plan.

Hopefully, my next post will not be four months away! LOL

The Last Day of 2012 Activites!!!

So, what did I do today? I bought my wife LOUIS VUITTON Tivoli PM handbag, pochette milla mm monogram and MARC JACOB’s the compact in red. I came out of the shops laughing before tears roll down my cheeks to become a cry.

At Last! A Nice Epic Korean Drama…

I have been playing ‘BATTLEFIELD 3′ all the way while my siblings watched soap operas of unfaithful husbands having affairs then divorce their wives who proceed to ruin their lives thus making names for themselves. Interestingly, all families are inter-connected. -_-”’

I love Korean epic dramas dating back to the times of Goryeo like ‘DAE JO YEONG’. This time, it is ‘THE GREAT SEER’. Let us see how the show unfolds!

“GO GORYEO! NOT K-POP!” Even my grandmother thinks T.O.P of Big Bang is a drag queen. :x

Five Days Left To the Big Day

Many of you may have questioned where I have been for the past month. I have been tying down last administration for the big day. Yes, my wedding.

Happy? More like nervous. I am thinking how I will lead my future wife and family. Will I be a good husband, father and grandfather? I don’t know. I will try my very best to be logical, fair and always listening to opinions when we reach crossroads. I will work hard to provide the family the very best. Of course, we will have to teach the children, if we do, to earn them.

Pray hard for me all. I know there are lots more to come in this blog for our amazing future chapters. Right now, I will have to recover from fever ASAP.

xoxo

How My Mother Must Have Felt

I remember when I was younger, my mother would sit me in front of our whiteboard and tried to make me understand Mathematics’ “more and less” topic. I bet she must have mentally pulled her hair seeing me struggle. Just like the video below.

I received loads of rattan marks. LOL. The days…

What I Went Through In The 90′s! D:

Basically this post is more about the late 1990′s!

I was clearing my room and storage around the house and I realise I have magazines dated as far as early 1999! O… M… G…! I laughed till my tears rolled! My sisters, Fiza and Zirah, joined in and they really enjoy recalling what they did back then too! If I was 15, they were 13 and 9 years old respectively! Fun times! Great times!

Copies that I found:

Magazines

LIME and MAX magazines. People of the 90′s will know

We then searched for artistes whom we know were very popular with Singaporean teenagers back then!

Vengaboys’ music was very, very popular…

When I was in secondary school, this will always be a topic-starter!

Admit it! You sang along to this!

I like this song and I am not afraid to say it! :x

I have their CDs.

My sisters used to dance to them! Dat baggy pants…!

I remember teenage girls crying for them. Just look at them fighting for camera time… Fiza was laughing looking at their dance move like Sandra Bullock’s in ‘THE PROPOSAL’. See below:

Something like that…

My Peer Leaders made me dance to this… I was forced! D:

Hope you enjoy laughing reading this post… ;)

Self-Timer Poses

When you place a camera with 10-shot self-timer, this is what happens…

It is always good to unwind yourselves. Do share your funny photos!

Anniversary At AquaMarine

Last Sunday, I had a great late afternoon with my family celebrating our parents’ anniversary with high tea treat. We went to AquaMarine located at Marina Mandarin Singapore.

I helped myself to the potato chips (loads of them) with the sister’s boyfriend as the accomplice. Nice food as I enjoyed the roasted chicken with rice, bread topped with chopped prawn spread, loh mai kai and durian pengat (blended durian).

We then went to Gardens by the Bay to hang out for a bit. I was not disappointed by the preview of the whole thing.

Rants On Internet

Rants on the internet should always be taken seriously. Latest case: NTUC fires Assistant Director for racist comments

I am not angry but sad looking at our educated people not thinking things through before posting something online. Void decks in Singapore flats are normally used for Malay weddings and, for Chinese, mostly funerals. I have attended both of them to respect my friends and family no matter what race they are. So do my other family members.

I do not want to see Singaporeans fighting because there are bigger issues like the need to weed out internet bashing. Read the video comments and you will understand what happens when people do not respect each other’s religion. I do not agree 100% what Pwnstar said but listen to what he has to say. Once again, no bashing in the video comments please.
